Employee Health Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Duarte, CA.

This position is in the employee health department where they assist with medical screenings for new and existing employees. Shifts are Monday-Friday typically 8:30am - 5:00pm. Job is to cover a maternity leave until about end of August 2022 and then per-diem long-term. Potential for full-time extension.


Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Active/unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in state of California
• Minimum three (3) years' experience as a Nurse
• Must have previous experience in at least one of the following: Occupational/Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care and/or Family Medicine
• Recent clinical experience

What You'll Be Doing:

• Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
• Provide health promotion and wellness materials/information
• Provide medical testing such as EKGs, phlebotomy, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening and perform limited interpretation of tests
• TB testing and immunizations
• Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) and Respirator Fit Testing (RFT)
• Maintain employee health records for the entire facility
• Answer phones and assist with questions

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• BLS certified
• Computer savvy (including prior EMR use)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
• Immunization/titer records for MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella, and Hep B series
• TB (PPD) test from within the last year or QuantiFeron Gold
• Updated Flu shot or be willing to obtain during next season
• Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated (including booster)
