Primary Responsibilities:
The individual in this position will be responsible for collaborating across a functional team to ideate, plan, and execute efforts supporting the Enterprise Enablement & Platform Services (EEPS) evolution to a Product centric organization as part of the EEPS Product Office team, this includes:

  • Support the build out and execution of a product on-boarding pipeline with the goal of enabling successful implementation of an enterprise tech product catalog (Healthcare Platform), in parity with public cloud providers
  • Utilize industry best practices and enterprise guidelines to define and implement a divisional product operating model, including re-usable templates, operating procedures, and appropriate reference material
  • Aid in value-add activities as related to the EEPS Product Office. I.e., Support Divisional Product Offering reviews, quarterly reporting requirements, ad-hoc special projects, etc.
  • Establish close partnerships with the Product/Program Managers, IT Architects, and engineering leads for enterprise and/or strategic initiatives
  • Understand business strategy and business need for given initiative(s)
  • Accountable for delivery and outcome validation/benefit realization
  • Accountable for alignment with Product backlog and clarity
  • Change Agent for Product Transformation and evolution

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven ability to encourage self-motivation, improvement, and drive
  • 3+ years of ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data
  • 2+ years of experience communicating opportunity assessment and product benefits to company leadership and other audiences
  • 2+ years of experience with process ideation, operationalization, evaluation and improvement
  • 2+ years of experience as a coach, lead or in a role that requires influencing others

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and knowledge working with enterprise infrastructure technologies - cloud infrastructure experience
  • Experience playing some other position on a software product team
  • Product Management discipline knowledge
  • Aha! Knowledge and hands on experience
  • Knowledge of what makes a good process and being able to apply frameworks and methodologies for the right problem
  • Ability to multi-task and ensure all deliverables are met timely
  • Driven by finding the root cause of any issue, rather than putting a patch over them, with sound judgement and problem-solving ability at all levels
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy for product leaders and their team as well as for your colleagues in the Product Office
  • Highly organized with extreme attention to detail balanced against the big picture
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
