Customer Service Representative
Job Description
The Customer Service Representative will interact with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints. The ideal candidate should have experience in customer service, order processing, or as an order entry clerk. Additional experience as an order entry specialist will also be considered. This position interacts directly with customers and sales consultants to address inquiries and facilitate order entry.
Requirements
- Interacts with customers and sales consultants via telephone, email, or online chat to provide support and information on products.
- Enter orders in ERP system, based on information received from customer and/or sales consultant.
- Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
- Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
- Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
- Disperse orders to the Team on a rotation basis.
- Retrieve POs from many different online portals, confirm and submit invoices once order has shipped.
- Use internal CRM for orders, quotes, and ticketing system.
- Provide various reports and certificates to Sales Consultants and customers as needed.
- Process bids when requested.
- Works in team environment to maintain shared responsibilities between the group.
- Cover Receptionist desk for breaks and vacation/sick leave – On site personnel will cover the Front Desk. Remote users answer calls from the phone tree.
- Additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year customer service-related experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word knowledge.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Must have good time management skills.
