Job Summary
Demonstrates familiarity with estimating terminology and reference systems. The Associate Estimator provides support to Estimating professionals in a timely manner, as requested.

Key Responsibilities
Under working supervision, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Personal safety as well as the safety of co-workers
Adhere to all applicable Operating Principles/Standards and Estimating Procedures to drive consistency across regional offices and business lines
Demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of Estimating work processes
Demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of Estimatings role in project development
Provide support to department staff in a timely manner, as assigned
Self-checking the accuracy of his/her work and that of subordinates
Personal development expectations include, but are not limited to:
Demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of analyzing and solving problems
Demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of preparation and coordination of data
Demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of standard reference systems
Self-development to promote professional advancement
Participate in training as assigned and as opportunities permit
Basic tasks frequently performed in these positions include:
Assist in gathering project historical data
Assist in updating and maintenance of Estimating documents
Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required
Exposure to 3rd party Estimating software programs (specifically Aspen Capital Cost Estimator) preferred
Field experience
Demonstratedability to contribute on projects estimates exceeding $500,000 in value
3 Years of industry experience
Minimum Qualifications
2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
Typical office environment: Sitting/standing/computer-usage for extended period of time. Speaking/Listening. Ability to utilize audio/video conferencing software for internal/external communication purposes.
