Chief Finance Officer - Remote Role

CFS is working with Non-Profit Organization that is dedicated to the performing arts on a global scale.

About the Company working as a Chief Financial Officer

• The organization has provided their services for 40+ years offering grants to individuals and institutions in dance, theatre, film, and other artists
• Our client has recently launched a luxury brand that are currently in the major department stores world-wide and on their ecommerce channel selling fragrances, accessories and other goods
• The brand is in a start-up phase and are thriving in their ecommerce channel, and looking to add additional brick & mortar stores
• This role is 100% remote and would be the strategic partner working with the CEO, Director of Operations and Marketing teams.
• This is a great opportunity to grow a revenue channel and business to help fulfill grants given to the people in fine arts

Responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer

• Being a strategic manager initiating long term goals for the organization and the revenue stream
• Creating and managing the budget & forecasting process and overseeing key metrics to keeping the business on track
• Managing banking relationships and the point person on international regulatory requirements
• Streamlining processes and recommend system upgrades
• Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
• Manage relationships with banks

Qualifications of the Chief Financial Officer

• Experience in related Consumer Packaged Goods / Retail / E-Commerce industry
• Bachelors in Accounting/Finance, MBA / CPA is a plus but not a must
• Experienced in QuickBooks, very strong Excel experience for budgeting/reporting purposes
• A start up mentality and collaborative individual; this role will be very autonomous
