Agile Coach

North Highland are looking for Agile Coaches as part of work in a people-centric and value/outcome-focused culture and working environment.

You will coach, mentor and guide our people in squads to figure out the best solutions the business goals. You will be coaching Agile Teams as they create and deliver value through Agile ways of working and helping unlock potential within scrum masters and Product Owners.

What we are looking for:

  • Understanding of various Agile methods, when they would be used
  • Understanding of the different coaching stances and why they would be used
  • Ability to drive cultural change by championing an agile mindset
  • Ability to guide teams to help them learn through their Agile journey

Key responsibilities are to:

  • Support squads with the adoption of Agile methods
  • Facilitate maturity of role-based competencies in squads
  • Champion the use of leading indicators and other objective measures of success
  • Develop coaching plans for maturing role-based competencies and agree them with squad members
  • Facilitate learning and development through individual and group sessions in service of delivering the outcomes of the coaching plans
  • Where applicable, develop content and deliver bite sized ongoing learning in service of delivering outcome of the coaching plans

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as an Agile Coach
  • Experience in Scrum, Kanban, and knowledge of Spotify method
  • Can showcase examples of implementing agile techniques in different cultures and environments
  • Strong mentor, leader, educator, and coach
  • An excellent communicator and motivator

There is a large coaching community at our client and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with your fellow agile coaches to support the client’s business goals.
