Marketing Manager - Real Estate New Development

Summary

Avdoo & Partners, a fully integrated, privately held real estate organization is seeking a hands-on, confident, and dynamic Marketing Manager. This position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated with a positive attitude, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic, high-performing team, and adapt well under pressure.

The candidate must have a strong understanding of real estate marketing and a minimum four years’ experience working in agency or in-house marketing, communications, or PR experience in the real estate industry. This position will require the candidate to have extensive experience in social media management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently and take initiative.

In this position, you will report directly to the managing principles and work closely with the development team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for the Avdoo & Partners brand and its new development projects
  • Build upon the brand developed for Avdoo & Partners and speak to how you can grow and engage investors, real estate professionals and the end users (buyers and tenants) on multiple platforms.
  • Develop and maintain social media presence for Avdoo & Partners and new development projects at a corporate level
  • Create, design, and manage overall marketing initiatives which include but are not limited to marketing campaigns, sales presentations, investor reports, analysis of sales and marketing trends, social media, and advertising and marketing promotional events which will be sent to existing and potential investors
  • Create organic social media content for Avdoo & Partners and the company’s development projects
  • Act as a liaison for project and partner vendor relations, including but not limited to PR, Branding, Paid Media, Art Direction, Sales, Staging, Photography, etc.
  • Assist with drafting press releases, representing the company to media outlets, developing annual forecasts
  • Maintain accurate information on company website
  • Brainstorm fresh advertising and marketing ideas with senior management
  • Analyzing market trends and preparing forecasts
  • Assist in developing and managing the marketing department's budget

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing/Communications and/or Real Estate
  • Minimum of 4 years of agency or in-house marketing, communications, and/or PR experience in relevant industry
  • Prior experience with project management of a new development marketing campaign would be beneficial
  • Extensive and growing knowledge of the New York City real estate market and competitive landscape
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Eye for creative design
  • Proficient in marketing-related software programs (Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Hootsuite, Microsoft Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong social media skills, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc., as well as website design and ability to write web content
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Capability of working independently, taking initiative, and being part of a team working collaboratively
  • Confident communicator with strong analytical and project/budget management skills
  • Time management and organization skills in order to plan and execute both large and small marketing projects and initiatives
  • Effective communication skills and adaptable communication style for interacting with team members, upper management, partners, and vendors
  • Ability to speak about projects and express your opinion
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for coming up with ideas to increase engagement and brand awareness
