Selection Studio Manager



Job Description

Antares Homes is seeking a friendly and professional applicant for a Selection Studio Manager in Arlington, Texas.
At our selection studio, our homebuyers not only personalize the interior of their home regarding flooring, cabinets, countertops, lighting, but they also select brick, stone, exterior paint, and trim along with any additional electrical and/or AV locations inside or outside the home. This position requires not only design experience, but a thorough knowledge of blueprints, construction practices and ability to work with different personalities in a fast-paced, creative, and client focused environment.
Duties And Responsibilities:
• Assist and guide customers to select interior and exterior items as well as potential upgrades for their home.
• Responsible for training and developing design consultants.
• Communicate regularly with internal Purchasing personnel and external vendors to ensure proper expectations are set at design appointments.
• Interact with On-site Sales Counselors and Construction Managers daily.
• Maintenance of the Selection Studio showroom.
• Help select options and colors for speculative homes based on buyer profiles for respective communities.
• Responsible for the overall satisfaction of the buyer's experience through the selection process.
• Respond to any concerns or questions that arise from either homeowner, construction site or customer service and provide quick responses and effective solutions.
• Will be responsible for reviewing and preparing weekly reports.

Experience/Skills:
• One-on-one work experience with buyers in a structured setting.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Experience working with a homebuilder and/or previous design experience working directly with customers.
• Must have a good color sense and the basic ability to read house plans.
• Superior customer service background with prior experience in a manager role.
• Ability to remain flexible and patient during the customer decision making process.
• College degree in Interior Design or Architectural Technology related field or equivalent work experience.
• Must have strong organizational skills with strong attention to details.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office and Adobe; strong Excel skills are a must.
• Ability to succeed in a deadline driven environment.
