Export Action Center Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

Your specific duties as a Export Action Center Coordinator will include:

• Compensation (Range): $24 - $26/ hour
• Single point of contact for assigned accounts including daily interface with subsidiaries, North America Export Operations, Logistics, suppliers, subject matter experts and dealers/distributors in the export markets. Liaison with Export Operations Managers in various order-to-delivery related issues in an effort to grow the business.
• The focus in this position is to assist in resolving current issues, providing solutions to benefit both and customer, and to encourage best practices.
• Production request submission follow up
• Vehicle Order Guide
• Specification interpretation
• Specification verification
• Feature/Content availability
• VOG and OWB readiness timing
• Order management
• Order entry submission follow up
• Order entry issues
• Order rejects
• Order changes
• Order expediting and allocation
• Ship-to changes
• Order cancellations
• Vehicle Logistics
• Vehicle tracking
• Damage in transit
• Expedite plant to Port of Load (POL)
• Expedite POL to Port of Discharge (POD)
• Support port processing
• Shipping plan/itinerary inquiries

Job Requirements

As a Export Action Center Coordinator you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

• High level of analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying key issues and resolving root causes
• Demonstrate relationship building skills with the ability to interact with the customer via email and phone conversations
• Ability to work independently
• Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
• Demonstrate understanding of the value of teamwork and team participation
• Ability to manage multiple activities
• High level of organization skills and able to meet deadlines
• Demonstrate sound decision-making capabilities
• Understand unique customer needs
• Ability to manage diversity and cultures with a focus on global awareness
• Flexibility to meet customer needs outside normal U.S. Monday thru Friday and 8 AM – 5 PM hours
• Preferred: Automotive export experience
