What to Expect:
1)Most packages weigh less than 50lbs and automation technology is used to reduce physical labor
2)Retrieve and sort incoming packages.
3)Prepare deliveries by either gaylord, sack setup or pallet stacking.
4)Load packages into the system and identify special handling needs.
5)Use technology like scanners, computers and automation for improved accuracy and speed.
6)Perform all additional duties as required.
Your Background:
1)The ability to be dependable and reliable.
2)The ability to understand and follow safety and other operational directions in English, or translated from English, irrespective of your native language
Preferred (Not Required):
1)Prior handling, fulfillment, warehouse or equivalent experience.
2)Working knowledge of small package and conveyor systems.
Physical Demands and Abilities:
1) The ability to lift 5 lbs., but occasionally up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations
2) The ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations.
