Road Service Diesel Technician
Job Description
Earthborne, Inc. is an authorized distributor for JCB, Rayco, Morbark, and other construction and forestry equipment lines in Southeastern Pennsylvania, providing top quality products and services since 1976.
Due to an increase in business, Earthborne is seeking Field Service Technicians who are willing to travel. These positions will be based out of Warrington, PA but will very often travel to other locations (generally out-of-state and for days / weeks at a time) when necessary to fulfill job requirements. Much of our customer base is located in the Southeast region from VA through FL. Your training will be provided on a one on one basis in the field by a senior technician. All travel expenses are paid for by the company.

Responsibilities
- Travel to other locations when necessary to fulfill job requirements
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Adjust or replace brakes
- Perform oil changes
- Training operators in the proper daily and periodic maintenance of the machine
- Troubleshoot diesel engines for ongoing maintenance needs and major repair evaluation purposes
- Be the ‘face’ of Earthborne to our valued customers and their field employees
- Service regular customers in accordance with the service contract
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment or similar
- Experience working on Rayco Forestry Equipment preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Good communications skills
- Competence with hand, air and electrical tools
- Ability to consistently repair components and equipment in line with manufacturer's standards.
- Must be self-motivated and trustworthy
- Ability to work independently and handle responsibility to make field decision
- Own Basic Tools for equipment repair
- Willingness to travel for 3-4 weeks at a time
- Must have a good driving record and have a Class B CDL or willingness to get a CDL
