Semiconductor Field Process Support Engineers

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a growing Technology Company in the Semiconductor Industry ,is seeking a few Regional Process Support Engineers in Tempe, AZ. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on these exclusive search assignments. Our client has a competitive compensation package including base salary, annual bonus, stock/RSU's, etc. Summary: In this role, the Semiconductor Field Process Support Engineer will be supporting the company's interest globally by providing solutions and support to field and customer personnel. They will lead and manage the escalation process/team as the organizations escalation owner while mentoring co-workers, and will work to resolve issues on toolsets covered. The Semiconductor Field Process Support Engineer must have a sense of ownership, sense of urgency, and driving root cause based, full issue closure will be key attributes for individuals in this function. They will also provide value, teamwork, and specific data through existing SOP's to drive FSE efficiency, improve tool performance, and provide solutions, and create/improve BKM's. Additional Duties:
  • Drive SOP's and protocol, able to guide co-workers
  • Drive and execute knowledge of Escalation process including managing action lists, handle support calls and legacy tool escalations without assistance and driving other experts to close the remaining issues you can't resolve
  • Be a system expert for support of field problems, travel to customer site domestically and internationally with short notice

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS degree in a technical field (i.e. Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science) or equivalent technical training
  • 5-10 years of experience in the electronic or semiconductor industry preferred
  • 3-5+ years of experience directly related experience. (i.e. ALD, PEALD, EPI, PECVD,CVD ) or similar processes and technologies
  • Ability to handle all customer situations, developing action plans then presenting and driving resolution to both and customer
  • Strong positive attitude, ability to work in a team environment or individually, drive meetings, provide guidance to co-workers, and foster excellent internal relations
  • Solid logic based troubleshooting skills, ability to teach co-workers
  • Ability to work responsibly with all resources and departments in a multifunctional high paced atmosphere independent of supervision on highly complex problems
  • Skilled in electrical and/or mechanical techniques and overall equipment system knowledge (HW / SW, Process) is preferred
  • Strong computer skills, working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, OneComm, SharePoint, SAP/FSM/JAM
  • Includes; PCP, PDP, change request, NC, CIP, clear technical input in CCB
  • Strong ability to develop action plans on technical issues with customers and field personnel
  • Strong knowledge of Semiconductor vacuum techniques and troubleshooting
