Primary Responsibilities:The Business Improvement Analyst is a key asset to KeHE’s Business Improvement Team. This position is responsible for supporting the Senior Director of Business Improvement in the analyzing and review of data for new customer on boarding’s, corporate or customer projects and developing presentations. This position will also engage and coordinate the efforts of key stakeholders and subject matter experts to meet the scope and deadlines of projects. Essential Functions:- Research quantitative and qualitative information to support customer or corporate initiatives and presentations.
- Compile actionable qualitative information to support development of project strategy and action plans.
- Examine customer data to support operational holiday planning and customer KPD improvements.
- Manage projects to ensure timelines and deliverables are clearly communicated and completed.
- Assemble and proof final presentations for accuracy, consistency and visual appearance.
- Evaluate past performance of customer driven initiatives, new customer on boarding’s, expense reduction projects and develop presentations to ensure ROI results are identified.
- Stay abreast on new customer on- boarding’s, expense reduction, customer and corporate initiatives.
- Support other cross functional groups that the Business Improvement Team interacts with as needed basis (Transportation. Warehouse Operations, Account Support, Pricing, Customer Care, Supply Chain, Enterprise Data. EDI/ IT, Sales etc.).
- 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field of study.
- A minimum of two years of related experience in quantitative sales & general business analysis.
- Experience with retail merchandising, and/or the grocery industry are a plus.
- Participate in hands-on technical projects to support our team.
- Experience with Power BI. / query writing a plus.
- Willingness to take initiative on projects with minimal supervision.
- Ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations in writing and verbally to internal audiences as well as retail customers.
- Demonstrate skill and competency with all Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced business environment.
- Capacity to learn and process quickly.
- Critical thinking skills and an entrepreneurial spirt.
- Possess a sense of urgency and attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to effectively manage a wide variety of tasks simultaneously and often with time conflicting pressures.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends.
- Desire to work in a team based environment where working for the success of the group is as important as individual success.
- Ability to re-prioritize tasks based on the fluctuation in tasks and deadlines.
