Responsibilities

Front End Developer / Engineer

BlueHalo is looking for a self-motivated software developer who is interested in working in a highly agile and dynamic R&D, technology transition, and product development environment. You will be working with the Products Development team and R&D teams within IAI to advance research and develop products in the areas of big data, video, image, video, text, and network analytics. You are highly encouraged to apply if you are excited about writing code, interested in applying the latest technologies throughout the software stack, have strong analytical skills, enjoy finding and fixing bugs, passionate about understanding how things work and want to solve complex problems.

Front End Developer: Overview

JOB DUTIES

• Work closely with a small R&D team to develop interactive web-based products spanning eLearning, assessment, serious games, and mobile apps

• Contribute to project development through system design, requirements gathering, and programming

• Collaborate with project managers, other programmers, graphic designers, and artists to achieve project milestones

• Be able to research and defend possible approaches to solving problems

• Be able to learn new SDKs, APIs, or programming languages as necessary

• Be willing to explore opportunities enabled by new technologies

  EDUCATION

• BS in Computer Science or comparable degree

  REQUIRED SKILLS

• Experience withVue.js(building user interfaces (UIs) and single-page applications (SPAs))

• Experience withD3(creating animations, interactivity, displaying dynamic data, etc. )

• Ability to design and implement flexible software to meet requirements

• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS, DOM, and JavaScript

• Experience with Web APIs, especially Angular

• Experience in an OOP programming language (Java , C# or TypeScript)

• Experience in server-side technologies

• Effective oral and written communication skills

  DESIRED SKILLS

• Experience developing mobile apps, games, or educational/training systems

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Ionic

• Experience with agile development

  US Citizenship requiredor Permanent Residency required
