TRM REPRESENTATIVE

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining all Ticket Redemption Machines, Jackpot Kiosks, Marketing Kiosks and Lottery machines as well as cleaning of the currency counters and recyclers.

  • Performs frequent preventative maintenance on all Ticket Redemption Machines.

  • Ensures the required PGCB signage is displayed on all the Ticket Redemption Machines, Jackpot Kiosks, Marketing Kiosks and ATMs.

  • Processes, impresses and balances all transactions related to the Ticket Redemption machines.

  • Processes TRM Fills and Credits using automated and manual systems.

  • Tracks Lottery tickets and informs the cage leadership team of what needs to be ordered each week. Returns to the Lottery all tickets for games no longer being offered.

  • Maintains the proper inventory of spare parts for the redemption machines and kiosks while staying within the budget guidelines.

  • Interacts with guests when handling disputes and properly tracks the disputes for balancing purposes.

  • Assists the management team with the operation of the Recyclers and ensures the funds are deposited and withdrawn as necessary.

  • Assists the management team with conducting emergency Slot Drops.

  • Communicates pertinent information to supervisors such as guest service issues, payout discrepancies, variances and any other abnormality that may occur during their work day.

  • Provides prompt, friendly and courteous service to all internal and external customers, while following company and PGCB gaming regulations.

  • Reconciles money, paperwork and other assets before, during or at the end of the work shift.

  • Responsible for the safeguarding of company assets by ensuring all distinguishing job functions are performed according to established company policies and procedures.

  • May perform the duties of a TRM Technician.

  • Properly notifies other departments (Slots, Tables, Beverage) of outages, moves and repairs.

  • Performs all other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Trade School certification for electronics or a Technical certificate in a related field with one year experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively interface with guests and team members.

  • Must be able to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays.

  • Must have the ability to remain professional and tolerate stress related to servicing public guests in a high pressure and fast-paced environment on the Casino Gaming floor.

  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm during stressful and fast paced situations.

  • Must be able to be constantly exposed to casino-related environmental factors, including, but not limited to second hand smoke and excessive noise.


  • The job functions encompass a varied combination of physical functions, including, but not limited to the following:

  1. Constant standing, walking, reaching outward, occasional reaching about the shoulder level and frequent squatting, kneeling, and bending.

  2. Finger/hand dexterity to maneuver on computer keyboard, office machinery and other tools.

  3. Ability to lift or carry up to 100 pounds.

  4. Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds

  • Must be able to traverse through the Casino to arrive at assigned locations.

  • Must be able to learn and retain knowledge of computer systems, procedures and regulatory requirements.

  • Required to pass state mandated and department testing.

  • Must be able to constantly and accurately communicate effectively and politely in spoken English, with Team Members and guests to answer questions, provide information and check for guest satisfaction.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide without the use of a calculator, use a point of sale system, handle cash and other financial transactions quickly and accurately.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Must be able to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process.

  • Must obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
