Inspection Technician

Infinity Energy is currently looking for an Inspection Technician in Chico, CA. The Inspection Technician is a full-time entry level position with starting pay between $16.00 & $18.00 per hour and room to grow within Infinity Energy. The ideal candidate must be punctual and excited to work in the electrical / solar industry while adding value and professionalism to an ever-growing company.

Responsibilities for the Inspection Technician include, but not limited to:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, service, and repair residential solar systems and associated equipment to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
• Perform remote on site customer services, including installing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repairing of residential solar systems and related equipment.
• Problem solver who can multitask effectively and work well with the operations team to reach solar project objectives in a timely manner
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate confidently with customers, and government officials to build rapport and strengthen our relationships with them
• Meet with city and county inspectors to facilitate inspection of solar installations
• Label conduit and electrical equipment, install smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and troubleshoot systems to detect problems and ensure conformance with the approved plan and permit

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the Inspection Technician:

• 1 year of experience in solar field operations (installations, Inspections or Service)
• Must be able to climb and carry ladder
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Awesome customer service skills
• Awesome verbal and written communication skills
• Awesome organizational and time management skills
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
