T&E Regional Front Office Lead will represent the T&E organization across ABB Business Areas in the region and you are the face to the customer, being the contact point for any T&E related matter.
This position reports to
Travel & Expenses Manager
Your responsibilities
- Collect business needs and internally connect with T&E teams to develop the proper solutions
- Handle questions related to T&E performance from the Business and Country Management and propose improvements internal and externally
- Support on establishing Performance and KPI Measurement Systems and reporting
- Applying T&E guidelines, best practices, standards, and trainings in the geography
- Supporting the implementation of T&E in the country
- Ensure consistency and alignment between business lines in the region on policy and process implementation and compliance
- Track changes and develop expertise on legal and statutory requirements in relation to T&E to make sure policies and processes are compliant
- Acting as point of contact for Policy Owners, Internal Control, and Internal Audit within the country
- Acting as escalation point for the business, countries and T&E Audit team for complex escalations as well as helping to reach an agreement
- Tracking T&E program compliance and raising non-compliance with focus on non-travel-related spends discovered during audit or analytics
- Keeping the Business and Country Management informed about SLA, KPI and user satisfaction surveys
- Work in collaboration with all T&E teams to close gaps for ABB Businesses and deliver the expected service quality
- Acting according to ABB’s code of ethics, OHS guidelines and other compliance requirements
Your background
- Bachelor degree and 6+ years of related experience required.
- People management and leadership experience required.
- Travel up to 30% required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a global matrix organization including managing people globally and regionally highly preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to interact with different levels of the stakeholder high preferred.
- Advanced communication skills including fluency in English (required) and other languages preferred.
- Strong customer focus and problem solving skills along with the ability to liaise with operational teams, translating complex problems into actionable operational action highly preferred.
- Candidates must have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the USA
