Card Acceptance Payments Manager
We are looking for a Card Acceptance Payments Manager who will become an expert in all things payments for the Brick & Mortar Money Transfer segment for Ria. This is a strategic company initiative to ensure the business model of supporting worldwide money remittance remains viable for Ria as the cash-based customers around the world move to card and digital currency and as more countries and banks around the world put pressure on businesses and citizens to move away from cash.

What You'll Do:
• Develop and implementation of the strategy, roadmap, alignment of stakeholder support, and leading teams through the implementation of non-cash payment acceptance in brick-and-mortar locations worldwide.
• Design customer-centric solutions that make lives easier for agents, Ria employees, and the customers we serve
• Maintain a pulse on emerging technologies that will shape the future of payments globally
• Continuously monitor and share with the organization emerging technologies that will impact this industry
• Cultivate new relationships and foster existing partnerships that drive the business forward
• Develop requirements and design documentation, customer experiences, commission product research, and deliver go-to-market products
• Partner across multiple developments, marketing, sales, finance, and other teams within Ria to align priorities, schedules, and resourcing against product initiatives
• Research and stay at the forefront of industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies that intersect with payment acceptance capabilities
• Identify program risks, help drive mitigations and communicate key information to the broader leadership team
• Product - Measure – defect rates, uptime, error rates, user feedback – and for continuous improvement
• Product - Refine – Locate the weak points, the waste, the failures, the opportunities for improvement and continue to iterate the solution with a laser focus on the end-user experience
• Be an advocate for the customer your products reach and serve
• Lead or partner to develop commercial agreements between Ria and the processor / acquiring bank that will support a term of service in alignment with near and long-term business objectives
• Maintain a repository of all active process/acquirer contracts and a master that provides visibility across all agreements across countries, and processors/acquirers
• Be the single point of contact subject matter expert resource for country managers, legal team members, and leadership to support strategic company decisions
Qualifications for Internal Candidates
What We're Looking For:
• BA/BS degree; MBA preferred, but not required
• High level of English language
• 3+ years of related experience in Payments, preferably with international and cross-border experience.
• Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Must have a high level of initiative.
• Excellent quantitative and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be a strategic thinker and also have outstanding project management skills.
• Must have the ability to multitask and take on a variety of different projects.
• Strong financial modeling skills required.
• Solid Brick & Mortar experience required.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 25%

Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, the base salary range in Colorado for this position is $70,000 - $85,000. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
