Corrugated Sales Representative
Job Description
AK Packaging is growing! We are seeking a self-motivated, ambitious, and outgoing sales representative to join our team. As an AK Packaging sales representative, you will specialize in selling corrugated packaging. In this role, you will cold call to develop, grow and maintain accounts. You will meet with customers to build relationships, while growing your business.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Generate leads by cold calling, networking, and utilizing directories and internet sites.
• Learn all aspects of corrugated packaging
• Respond to customer needs with urgency
• Work with your inside team throughout the quoting and customer order stages
• Sell accounts on the basis of service
• Travel to customer sites to discuss new opportunities.
• Maintain and strengthen customer relationships through professional sales calls and follow ups
• Proactively manage customer projects to ensure customer needs are understood and met
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Self-starter with excellent time management skills
• Possess a positive and outgoing attitude
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with customers
• High school diploma required
• Bachelor’s degree and/or sales experience preferred
• Experience with MS Office
