Summary

  • This position transports residents in accordance with standard operating procedures of the facility and as required by Company and client contractual requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Transports residents by Company van from facility to outside appointments.
  • Maintains the safety and security of residents at all times while transporting them.
  • Oversees all resident activities while boarding vehicle, transporting them to destinations and departing the vehicle.
  • Performs scheduled resident headcounts and completes written count reports in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Reports resident accidents or injuries to supervisor.
  • Reports all resident behavioral problems in writing to supervisor.
  • Enforces the rules of conduct with the residents.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year professional driving experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license from state in which the duties are performed.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
