Description :
- Development and application of protocols, procedures, and standards for SSES activities, including flow monitoring, manhole inspections, CCTV inspections, smoke testing, dye-water testing and night-flow isolations.
- Manages field crews performing SSES activities, including scheduling work, managing logistics, fleet management, field supplies, and equipment inventory.
- Project planning and execution to meet client requirements.
- Staffing including hiring, team leadership, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Production control, scheduling, and quality assurance.
- Project budget compliance including labor costs & expense control.
- Material logistics, purchasing, vendor and sub-contractor interface.
- Project startups and direction of field operations to project specifications.
- Emergency response including dispatching and interagency liaison.
- Client relations, participate in progress meetings and briefings.
- Overall quality and timeliness of data collection.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to determine scope, schedule, and budget.
- Reports to the Wet Weather Program Operations Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental, or similar technical field, or Two years of college in a technical field, plus 8 years of sanitary sewer evaluation surveys (SSES) and data management experience.
- 8+ years of SSES experience including supervisory responsibilities is preferred.
- National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO), Pipeline Assessment & Certification Program (PACP), Manhole Assessment Certification Program (MACP), Lateral Assessment and Certification Program (LACP).
- Knowledge and expertise in software and equipment used for SSES projects.
- Requires occasional travel and overnight stays.
- Trained and Certified in Confined Space Entry (CSE) is a plus.
