As a valuable member of our deployment and integration team, you will wear multiple hats: technical lead, architect, programmer and deployment engineer. Your responsibilities include every facet of building and delivering DocASAP products and solution to large healthcare provider and payor systems by building integrations with industry leading EHRs and EPMs. You will be responsible of innovating bug-free features and integration capabilities and have an eye towards simplicity, usability, scalability and efficiency. Your algorithmic, curious mind strives to understand both the whys and the how. You love the unpredictability and energy of fast-paced environments and are not afraid to jump into new technologies and team members enjoy collaborating with you.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical lead on deployments and works closely with our various workstreams to successfully integrate with health providers’ EHR/EMR system to seamlessly onboard them onto DocASAP platform
  • Provide support for client issues: Troubleshoot/resolve customer problems of complex nature such as code defects, product configurations (files or data), networking, platform, third party communications, hardware configuration or other issues commonly encountered in systems' operation within a networked environment
  • Automate and perform regular monitoring and testing of DocASAP system integration software and infrastructure for clients
  • Build new product and integration enhancements and features based on client requests and help define the roadmap
  • Optimize deployment methodology and bring best practices to shorten the technical delivery timeline. Additionally, document EMR specific best practices in the form of playbooks
  • Assist with new team members knowledge transfer and training

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT and software engineering building, and delivering products and solutions
  • Experience with J2EE, and/or PHP or other programming languages
  • Experience with UNIX commands and shell scripting
  • Deep understanding of databases like MySQL, MS SQL, DB optimizations and performance tuning
  • Understanding of Web technologies such as HTML and CSS
  • Ability to write technical and functional specs

Preferred Qualifcations:

  • Project Management Certification
  • Experience working with integration and ETL technologies
  • Experience working with cloud-based solutions and services
  • Experience working with AWS tool stack, Git and Linux
  • Healthcare IT experience with API development, HL7, FHIR and EDI integrations

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
