The Marketing and Development Coordinator will report to the Development Director. The goal of this position is to facilitate and assist with successful fundraising activities. Work schedule for this position is Monday – Friday but weekend and evenings will be necessary. Job Qualifications: •Blackbaud, RE NXT experience preferred - Proficient with Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Word programs, Publisher, Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe, Premier and interest in learning marketing software systems - 1 year experience fundraising experience - 2 year experience maintaining business social media accounts: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. - Proficient picture taking skills of happy people - Proficient letter writing skills, establish, manage direct mail, newsletters, donor research, tracking and recognition programs - Working Knowledge of website management Recommended for position: - *Experience working in a not-for-profit business environment a plus - Outgoing personality for a high energy position in the community - Highly organized and schedule oriented - Ability to make decisions and problem solve in real time - Ability to support work teams Galveston County Food Bank is a drug-free company and an EOE.
