Position Summary:
The Internship Program Manager will be responsible for the creation and execution of internship programs at KSM, addressing the fast-evolving staffing needs of the firm and meeting the diverse needs, interests, and aspirations of today’s students. Working collaboratively with Human Resources, other operational functions and our client facing leaders, this person will design unique programs, providing exceptional experiences, resulting in a high-quality pipeline of talent, and ultimately yielding very high conversion rates to fulltime employment.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Learning & Development function to design curriculums and other professional development training programs that help ensure success in the internship
- Work with Director of Talent Acquisition and the Marketing function to design branding which reflects the various internship program objectives and can be used in the recruitment process
- Create social media content and campaigns supporting each program
- Ensure all program elements reflect and incorporate the firm’s commitment to DEI.
- Coordinate onboarding and training programs
- Coordinate development and execution of internship projects
- Collaborate with workgroup program managers, intern coordinators and other resources to ensure relevant and timely feedback
- Conduct periodic check-in meetings with interns to ascertain level of engagement and satisfaction
- Share concerns from feedback and check-in meetings with supervisors and/or Director, Talent Acquisition for appropriate action
- Coordinate movement, rotation or transfer of interns per programs and as directed
- Plan and facilitate events/activities aimed at building relationships and deepening connections within KSM
- Engage in ongoing communication with intern coordinators and campus ambassadors to keep a pulse on general performance and morale
- Establish, track and report on experience surveys and metrics that drive continuous improvement of the internship programs
- Design and implement offboarding program, including plan to stay connected
- Provide other support to the Director of Talent Acquisition as needed
Requirements/Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- 2-4 years of experience coordinating multiple resources in achieving a particular outcome
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to indirectly manage and influence stakeholders in meeting program objectives
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing multi-faceted programs with positive outcomes
- Proven ability to plan and manage virtual and hybrid events
- Strong communication and presentation skills; able to command a room
- Excellent technology and social media skills
- Orientation in using data and metrics to drive improvement and proactively solve problems
- High attention to detail, including strong organization skills
- Ability to prioritize frequent and competing demands
