Utility Worker - Part Time

NGHS is currently seeking a Dishroom Utility Worker for our Food and Nutrition Services team in Gainesville.

Part Time: 3:30pm-8:30pm

**Sign-On Bonus available**

Department Overview

Job Summary: Utility staff is responsible for the upkeep and the sanitation of all kitchen areas, kitchen equipment, and dining room dishes. The utility worker will also assist in the running of the food during meal service, along with dining room organization. During off peak hours, the Utility/Server will assist with other kitchen related tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-year related experience and/or training in sanitation preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Moves and manipulates various food products, dietary supplies, and equipment throughout the facility.
• Responsible for upkeep and sanitation of kitchen and dining room.

Physical Demands

• Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Frequent kneeling/stooping/bending
• Constantly walking/standing
• Frequent pushing/pulling
• Constant intensive work, requires reading, writing, & talking
