Classification: Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager

Compensation: $50000.00 to $60000.00 yearly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work with Division and Corporate Finance and Accounting teams in operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures.
• Provide accounting and financial analysis support to all aspects of community lifecycle from acquisition, entitlements, preconstruction, construction, sales and marketing, close out and transition as necessary.
• Land development invoice processing and payments including waivers
• Land development draws with lender
• Tracking of all waivers- subcontractor and supplier
• Setup waiver process in HB1
• Create weekly reporting for cashflow
• Weekly reporting of cash needs to Controller for check runs
• Bi-monthly reporting of funding being paid out for subcontract payments
• Processing of fencing invoices
• Communication with other departments regarding process improvement/issues
• Review and post invoice batches from accounts payable specialists
• Approve check groups for printing
• Create positive pay batches for upload into banking system
• Month/Year end invoice accrual
• Setup utilities online for processing payments
• Review job cost detail reports on lots in backlog
• Supervise accounts payable specialists
• Improve accounts payable processes to increase productivity and precision
• Communicates with outside vendors regarding issues
Key Attributes and Qualifications:
• 5 years minimum employment experience in Accounts Payable or similar roles.

Additional Requirements:
• Excellent analytical and writing skills required
• Advanced PC skills with Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point, and ERP Accounting System
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player with strong work ethic
• Hands on and detail oriented individual

None
Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary position. May be required to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard. This position works in a general office environment with moderate noise, the office environment is busy with unscheduled interruptions. This position requires public contact, as such, appropriate business apparel and professional appearance is expected.
