Automotive General Sales Manager

A Metrowest automotive dealership is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic General Sales Manager!

We offer a 5 day work week, 8pm closing time, and closed on Sundays!


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coach sales team on proper closing techniques through training and active participation
  • Manage all showroom activities for a large sales team
  • Spend time with customers to determine their needs, discuss vehicle options, and assist sales team members in closing deals
  • Hire, motivate, and monitor the performance of all new/used vehicle sales employees
  • Conduct daily and weekly sales and sales training meetings
  • Coach both new and experienced sales reps on best practices for improving performance
  • Monitor and analyze salespeople's performance
  • Assist in the development of advertising campaigns and other promotions
  • Ensure proper follow up of all prospective buyers by monitoring a CRM system
  • Forecast goals and objectives for sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven track record of success in High Volume at an Import/Domestic Automotive Franchise
  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships
  • Commitment to growing the manufacturers Certified Pre Owned Program
  • Ability to manage, motivate, and coach a sales team
  • Deep understanding of new car sales operations
  • Previous Nissan experience preferred
  • Experience with DealerTrack, ADP, VinSolutions, and/or Vauto a plus
  • Steady work history
