Job Title: DHTS IT ANALYST LEVEL I
Occupational Summary
The Interface Application Analyst Level I couples knowledge of business practices/operations with knowledge of information systems to build, test, implement, maintain and support Duke IT interface applications.
Reports To
Manager of the Application Integration Team
Work Performed
LEVEL 1
Analyzes interfaces, systems, data, and information
Meets with customers to determine interface requirements
Interfaces will be created primarily in HL7
Creates new interfaces and enhances existing interfaces
Generates and updates interface functional and field by field specifications
Builds interfaces in Epic Bridges and HealthShare interface engine
Ensures integrity and security of interfaces
Follows established team processes
Proactively identify issues and provides possible solutions
Identifies process improvements
Completes moderately complex tasks independently and participates on teams for larger projects
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein
Provides 24 hours/7 days a week on call support on a rotating schedule
Required Qualifications
LEVEL 1
Education/Training:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or, four years of equivalent IT technical experience required, or, a combination of formal IT education and experience totaling 4 years.
Experience:
No experience required beyond the minimum education (or equivalency) requirement.
