THE POSITION:

• As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will work with a team that operates in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to be a part of the company's growth, while further developing your accounting skills.
• The purpose of this position is to support the CFO on all financial affairs including reviewing interim financial statements and reconciling and preparing supporting schedules. This position is also responsible for general and inventory accounting, maintaining the organizations overall accounting systems, procedures, and policies as well as being the main point of contact for day-to-day accounting issues.
• We are seeking a self-motivated individual, analytical and has strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, professional verbal, and written communication. Looking for time management skills, accountability, prompt follow through and ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Senior Staff Accountant:

• A minimum of 2 years or accounting experience.
• Reviews Expenses – Monthly GL Detail review
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financials reporting
• Assist in developing annual budgets
• Monthly Sales Tax Return Preparation
• Tax Table Nexus Thresholds
• Daily Cash Drawer Reconciliation Reviews
• Posting Daily Financial Transactions
• Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
• Prepare Fixed Asset Schedules / Fleet Schedule
• Posting Debt Payments
• Maintaining Lease Payment Schedule and making monthly Lease payments
• EOM and EOY Close
• Statement Reconciliations
