Candidate Description

Maintain is a lot of exciting, dynamic things. Mostly, we’re fast-moving, forward-thinking, and fun. As a Content Creator, some of the responsibilities of the role include:

  • Understanding clients’ branding guidelines, voices, and objectives
  • Helping to brainstorm and map out content and social media strategies
  • Creating Social Media Content (Including graphics, videos, and photos)
  • Drafting awareness-stage B2C blog posts for an array of clients
  • Coming up with unique and engaging social media posts and captions based on relevant data and trends
  • Engaging on multiple social media platforms with Maintain’s audience as well as the audiences of Maintain’s Clients
  • Developing inbound campaign blueprints alongside the Director of Digital Strategy, which will encompass Google search ads, Google Display ads, and social media ads.
  • Develop data-driven buyer personas for each client every year
  • Develop content strategies for each client, including Maintain, each quarter. These will include anywhere between 8 and 20 blog posts, a premium piece of content, and dedicated landing pages
  • Write SEO copy for all content strategy items (including blogs, landing pages, pillar pages, eBooks, infographics, graphics, video scripts, and more)
  • Manage any copywriting interns who come on board to assist with copywriting
  • Assist with writing client-facing emails and other communications as needed
  • Assist with sitemap development as needed


Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Communications, Marketing, English, or Business Management
  • Experience in writing for SEO
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Meets, etc.)
  • Unlimited access to a phone and computer that can be used for work
  • A portfolio of social media management for clients in different industries
  • A writing portfolio containing pieces on a variety of topics
  • Experience in Adobe Suite and willingness to learn more
  • Located in the Tampa Bay area


Not Required, But a Bonus

  • Experience in copywriting/editing
  • Experience working in a marketing agency environment
  • Content Marketing certifications (Hubspot, Hootsuite, or similar)
  • Inbound marketing experience, especially at the strategy development level
  • Experience working with Social Media Planning Software (Hopper, Hootsuite, or similar)
