You should have experience in a major Front-end technology stack. Daily you’ll be developing and delivering consumer-facing web applications supporting/mentoring your teammates and enhancing our development and delivery process through new tools.

Responsibilities

• Your experience in online strategies, technologies coding, and innovative design will strengthen Teladoc Health’s brand and reach
• Your day to day is guided by defining site objectives by analyzing user requirements and envisioning optimal system features and functionality
• Architect and Develop features and core infrastructure geared towards member experience
• Gathering and refining JIRA epics or stories based on content, functional, and technical needs
• Collaborating with web designers to deliver stunning visual design
• Consuming and collaborating on easy-to-use internal and partner-facing RESTful API endpoints
• Learning and maintaining a deep familiarity with emerging technologies and industry trends and applying them in your work
• Working on both greenfield development as well as new feature enhancements
• Partnering with QA to enhance product quality through automation
• Provide code reviews to engineering peers based on experience using a perspective that always takes member experience as the foremost consideration
• Update existing code to improve scalability and availability of data transformations to improve member experience and efficiency of the system
• Helping your teammates succeed through peer reviews, documentation, and mentoring

Candidate Profile

• 7+ years of experience developing and delivering consumer-facing web applications in React or Angular framework
• 5+ years of experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
• 5+ years of experience developing with back-end frameworks such as C# or Node.js, .NET is a plus
• 5+ years of experience developing in cloud platform environment such as AWS or Azure
• Ruby development experience is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with modern HTML/CSS
• An understanding of REST and/or other protocol-based communication such as gRPC
• Experience building software where caching is used for better performance for API responses
• Experience writing software solutions using objective oriented design patterns
• Knowledge of web security and session management
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics and network analytics tools
• Enthusiastic about code optimization, automated testing, and writing unit tests
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. In lieu of a degree, relevant work experience and/or trade school is welcome.
  

The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - 160,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus, RSU’s, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2022. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
