Job Overview

We are currently seeking workers for our sand plant in Yoder, WY. Employees will be expected to be flexible and work in different roles based on the needs of the business. The position will report to the Operations Manager.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Appropriate use of PPE and works safely
• Follows direction of shift leader
• Performs general labor tasks at work site
• Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner ensuring maximum equipment health and productivity
• Consistent work product output
• Works with good attitude
• Completes work correctly the first time
• Has a strong understanding of the work they are assigned to and requires minimal supervision on how to perform work correctly
• Performs pre-shift inspections of equipment
• Understands and performs basic equipment maintenance as required
• Maintains daily scale operations; recording outbound weights, generates tickets, daily records
• Performs housekeeping duties and cleans around conveyors and plant equipment on a daily basis
• Cleans tail bearing area on all conveyors each day
• Listens and monitors for unusual sounds around plant equipment
• Grease equipment as per equipment manufacturer's recommendations
• Job responsibilities may include sand production tasks or sand loading. Tasks will include shoveling sand, operating wheel loader, loader, dozer, maintenance and/or inspection of plant equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind) for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently, climbs stairs/ladders, work at extreme heights, in confined spaces and walk on uneven terrain
• Ability to work in safety sensitive construction zone, around large machinery, and heavy equipment
• Must work cooperatively with a team in a fast-paced and complex environment

• Must have a collaborative attitude and willingness to perform any work that is required
• Schedule will typically be 7 days on/ 7 days off, 12-hour shifts. The plant has 24 hour/7day operations
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Working knowledge of sand plant, preferred
• Basic operating knowledge of construction equipment, preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
