Community Care Research Analyst

Utilizes basic statistical, mathematical, and predictive modeling to build algorithms and perform data analytics. Utilizes programing skills in languages such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, MATLAB, Teradata or similar.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with team members to develop to analytical techniques
• Leverages ML an AI technology working directly with data to define analytics
• Works to curate and process complex clinical and biological data
• Utilizes methods in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AL), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Natural Language Processing (NLP) to design and implement data solutions
• Functions as a primary resource for department chair, administrators and coordinators regarding the development of datasets.
• Acquire, analyze and present data with statistical analysis to primary Investigators
• Maintains the quality and data integrity of datasets and cohorts, making improvements and adjustments as needed.
• Interprets and presents data analysis results including explanation of statistical techniques used, assumptions made and summary of results.
• Documents methods and interpretation of results for future reference.
• Performs support, development and administrative activities as required.

Education:

• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Hospital Administration or other related field of study.
• A Bachelor's Degree and an additional two years experience may substitute for the Master's Degree.

Certifications:

• None required.

Complexity of Work:

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  Requires good communication and presentation skills to summarize data for Principal Investigators and other research

  audiences.

Work Experience:

• Knowledge of extracting and interpreting clinical datasets.
• Clinical knowledge (e.g. clinical workflows, EMR, Clarity) preferred.

• Strong working knowledge of SAS, SQL, Teradata Studio or SPSS

• Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience conducting data analytics, math or statistical modeling or machine learning in healthcare preferred

• Master’s degree can offset 2 years of experience

Physical Requirements:

• A high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC or word processor; normal or corrected vision to normal range, extensive sitting and frequent walking, occasional lifting or carrying of 5 to 15 pounds.
