LVN Scheduling Coordinator

We are looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse to help coordinate and schedule home infusion/nurse visits. We strive to provide best-in-class benefits packages, including: * HEALTH BENEFITS: * 401k with Matching * Major Medical * Dental * Vision * Life Insurance * Bereavement pay Other Perks: * Generous Paid Time-Off Plans * Employee referral bonus * On-Call bonus * Weekly pay w/ direct deposit * We promote from within * Employee of the month Program * HomeCare Pulse Employer of Choice * Joint Commission Accredited Responsibilities * Skilled patient care effectively manages the skilled patients care including but not limited to: managing recertification visits, Physician's orders, Plan of Treatments, and Medical Records. * Scheduling and care coverage supports and uses all technology tools and resources to ensure proper business processes; schedules Nursing staff to meet patient care needs; Ensures Nursing staff are properly trained and available as needed. * Assists with the intake of new patients and informs potential patients of our services and reasons to utilize BrightStar over other agencies. * Assists in the development of organization goals and agency performance improvement activities. * Administers agency policies and procedures. * Coordinates, educates and coaches other field personnel, as directed by the Director of Nursing. * Provide information to be used for statistics, reports and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organization activities * Assures proper maintenance of patient records in compliance with local, state and federal laws. Requirements * Scheduling experience preferred * Proficient in Windows and Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) * Flexibility and good time management skills A MUST * Minimum of 2 years experience as Licensed Vocational Nurse. * Minimum of 2 years' experience in Home Health * Office setting experience preferred. * Excellent organization, planning, and project management skills. * Valid drivers license; valid state required proof of auto insurance. * Transportation to meet the needs of position and scope of job responsibilities.
