Cafe Supervisor - Full time

Pocono Palace Resort is searching for a Enthusiastic and Dedicated Spooner's Cafe Supervisor at the 188-room Couples Resort located in East Stroudsburg, PA. Candidates must have a Professional Appearance and at least 1 year Experience in Restaurant Service. Preferably 2 years of Hospitality experience in a Supervisory Role. The ideal candidate will put pride in their work, be reliable, and be friendly and professional at all times.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

Principal Responsibilities: The Caf Supervisor is responsible for the efficient day to day operations of the caf in order to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and service to maximize profits.

Essential Functions:

-Assist with the training and supervision of Spooner's Cafe team members
-Oversee the day to day operations of the Cafe to ensure that guest and team member interactions are professional and courteous at all times.
-Promote and practice safe work habits, by identifying and resolving potential safety hazards and operational inconsistencies
-Maintain a calm demeanor and manage issues professionally and according to company standards, setting a positive example.
-Assist with inventory and ordering as directed by manager

In addition to these essential functions, the Spooner's Cafe Supervisor must be able to constantly walk and stand. Supervisors are also required to adhere to, as well as enforce, safety and security procedures that are set forth by the company.
