Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Diffco is looking for a new Heavy Equipment Mechanic. Applicant must be highly experienced in Earth moving and general construction equipment. Correctly Troubleshooting and efficiently decreasing downtime are what we're looking for.

This position is provided a company truck and some power tools, heavy equipment mechanics must provide their own hand tools. Applicant must have a valid Texas Drivers License and pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities:

• Repair Earth moving and general construction equipment
• Perform routine maintenance
• Use diagnostic tools to test components
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning the equipment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a mechanic
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
