- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Scope: Bubble Department Supervisor at the Lenoir facility. Implement and manage all functions related to the manufacturing of bubble products.
- Develop and train a high functioning team that understands how their role supports the overall success of the business
- Always maintain a safe work environment and support all safety related initiatives
- Direct work of employees to meet quality and on-time delivery requirements; address production challenges and communicate with Director of Operations and Extrusion Manager in Lenoir.
- Serve as a conduit of communication between employees and management
- Implement and follow established programs, such as safety, ISO, KPI’s, etc.
- Assigning roles and tasks to team members based on strengths and abilities
- Ensure compliance with state and legal policies and procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the company
Success will be measured by:
- Production throughput, scrap, and uptime
- Effective hiring, training, and retention of line operators
- High level of employee satisfaction

- Fluent understanding of die and barrel screen pressures for foam products

- EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum five years in extrusion environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree is preferred
- Previous management experience or training a bonus
- Problem solving skills
- Leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of facility machines and equipment.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to use hands/fingers, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
