Enterprise Media Monitoring Media Monitoring Analyst I
Bank of Americas Enterprise Media Monitoring team is a center of excellence (COE) within the CAO division and is responsible for risk monitoring and business intelligence reporting for the bank and financial industry-related topics, trends and insights in social and traditional media that impact our brand and business.
We are looking for a full-time Media Monitoring Analyst to join the EMM team to support the growing demand across many lines of business.
Qualified candidates need to exhibit the following skills:
Detail oriented, good written & communication skills
Process oriented with a data driven mentality
Knowledge of MS Excel, Macro knowledge a plus, and some exposure to social media tools or platforms
Comfortable with data associated with social media sources such as Twitter, Facebook, and various blogs like redditt
Comfortable with Boolean logic and basic search strategies
Comfortable with identifying data trends and making recommendation for quality improvements
Ability to perform detailed quality assurance on social media data related to volume tolerances, sentiment & topical trending
Ability to identify risk items that may go viral in the social media space
Exposure to quality assurance and testing methodologies
Some experience compiling analytical reports
This role will:
Actively monitor key themes, trends and emerging topics.
Research and escalate risk related topics to issue owners
Work as part of a larger team in collaborative processes to create deliverables
Execute daily quality assurance reporting
Recognize and identify inconsistencies or inaccuracies in tools, data, analytics
Produce metrics related to data quality and integrity
Adhere to departmental processes and guidelines, standards and quality assurance routines
Work closely with internal risk, compliance, and vendor mgmt.
Required Capabilities:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with social media data
Some experience in monitoring tools, such as Brandwatch, Cision, or Sprinklr
Good analytic background and business acumen
Ability to perform daily detailed oriented quality assurance procedures
Financial services industry background a plus
Charlotte or Waltham are targeted locations
