Senior Cost Accountant Job - Promote to Plant Controller - Chicago, IL North Suburbs

This newly created role offers an outstanding opportunity to develop and implement a new cost system.

Develop and maintain the Standard Costing System

Prepare and execute monthly cost updates

Set annual Overhead rates

Maintain Bills of Materials

Maintain Labor Routings

Set and Maintain Standard Labor Costs

Assure accurate product costs

Prepare New Product Costs

Create and maintain standard vs actual product cost analysis reporting

Requirements:

BS in Accounting

3 years of experience within the Manufacturing space

Standard cost accounting experience

Large ERP system experience

Advanced Excel skills
