Network Engineer - Unified Communications
Duties:
- Will work with Infrastructure and other IS teams to engineer, document and deploy UC (voice, video, etc) solutions.
- Assist in researching and evaluating solutions as well as installation, and testing of UC hardware and software for voice, data and video, high-availability and disaster recovery.
- Installs, troubleshoots, and supports technical solutions in infrastructure.
- Maintain SIP infrastructure across several locations
- Install/Maintain/Patch AudioCodes SBC's
- Assist with Architect voice solutions
- Help keep Skype for Business and Teams voice environment running smoothly
- Check Skype for Business and Teams Call Quality dashboard
- Assist the Engineering and Operations team troubleshoot/diagnose voice related issues
- Analyze existing standalone or clustered telephony infrastructure components with engineering and operations teams
Experience
- Minimum 5 years supporting voice, video and collaboration services
- Experience supporting Global Voice Infrastructures
- Hands on experience on MS Teams and Skype for business Online support and troubleshooting
- Experience in administration & Troubleshooting Enterprise Voice on Lync/SFB including SIP Trunks
- Knowledge of Lync Online and Hybrid setup
- Broad knowledge of Microsoft products, technologies, and its integration with Lync Server
- Knowledge of VoIP protocols such as SIP, H323, MGoogle Cloud Platform, RTP, Codecs knowledge and troubleshooting experience
- Ability to install and configure AudioCodes SBC's
- Ability to debug network issues pertaining to voice/video traffic
