Director of Finance & Accounting

Excellent opportunity for a Director of Finance with strong cash management skills to join this company in Annapolis experiencing tremendous growth year over year and be the right hand to the CFO! Robert Half has partnered with an established company in the area to expand their finance & accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, cash management, technology, analytical, and communication skills as part of the management team. In addition to cash management, you will also oversee the Accounting Managers and accounting team during monthly close and the financial reporting process. How you will make an impact:

- Take the lead on all financial and accounting operations

- Responsible for daily cash management, cash forecasting, draws/funding, and maintaining banking relationships

- Aid in developing department goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures

- Identify and resolve issues within ERP system for accuracy, and to enhance financial reporting and create efficiencies

- Direct, review, and prepare financial planning and budget management functions

- Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts

- Analyze monthly operating performance against budget
