Personal Lines Insurance Agent

We are seeking a Personal Lines Insurance Agent to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining the company's book of business by any requests made by the client, any new needs of the client and promptly turning in claims should one arise.

Hours for the position are 9-5 Monday thru Friday

Major Holidays off

2 weeks paid vacation first year

Salary and benefits negotiable - Very competitive.

Office located in Daleville VA.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain existing clients and assist with renewals, endorsements and new policies if needed.
• Develop and calculate suitable insurance coverage based on clients' needs
• Resolve client inquiries and complaints
• Expand business reach through networking techniques
• Comply with insurance standards and regulations
• Track and identify areas of improvement
• Flexibility in learning new skills

• Qualifications:
• Previous experience in insurance, customer service, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Licensed Property and Casualty individual preferred, but for right person we will train and get you licensed.
