Boomi Developer (Multiple Positions)
Location- Omaha, Twin Cities MN, Chicagoland (100% Remote Opportunity)
Role- Fulltime/ Contract/ Contract to hire
The transportation industry has no shortage of complex problems requiring creative solutions to scale efficiently. In this role, you will help solve those problems by managing the strategy and delivery of a piece of our client's Transportation Management System (TMS).
In this role, you will use strong analytical sense to evaluate ideas and dissect problems. You must be able to think strategically about your audience and their business needs, understanding what it takes to initiate the product lifecycle, communicate expectations, and provide support throughout the software implementation process.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Work within the Boomi platform to integrate data between various systems in coordination with the project and development teams
- Maintain existing integrations by monitoring errors, performing root cause analysis, and implementing fixes or preemptive enhancements
- Maintain status of existing integrations by monitoring errors, performing root cause analysis, and implementing fixes or precautionary enhancements
- Design and architect robust, scalable integration solutions in response to business needs
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on status, timelines, and decisions
- Create and maintain technical documentation on projects, integrations, and systems
- Migrate legacy integrations processes into a centralized platform for standardization, security and maintainability
Qualifications:
- 5 years of practical experience as a Software Developer
- 2 years of hands-on practical experience within the Boomi platform
- Proven experience building scalable integrations solutions
- Experience with Transportation Management System (TMS) or Warehouse Management (WMS) is needed
- Adaptable to change and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong sense of responsibility with a bias towards action
- Comfortable self-directing and prioritizing your own work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
