Job Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the VP of Supply Chain, you will lead the Supply Chain Center of Excellence with responsibility for the following functions and outputs:
- Business Analytics:
- Expand the analytics and reporting framework, run analyses, and regularly collaborate with the Supply Chain functional teams;
- Develop comprehensive spend and market analyses to support the identification of sourcing and cost savings opportunities;
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to improve cost savings, contract terms, process efficiency, and supplier performance;
- Consolidate and improve the reporting regarding supplier performance (products, service, quality levels, etc.); and
- Develop and maintain marketplace intelligence, industry trends, and supply chain innovations.
- Process Ownership and Continuous Improvement
- Responsible for all sourcing and procurement processes across the businesses, including the procurement policy and internal customer training
- Project Management
- Implement new technologies to enable faster and more accurate communication between our internal customers and our suppliers, including a new Source-to-Pay system, EDI, supplier portals, and an eCatalog system.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with a concentration in IT, business, math, finance, economics or related fields (Masters preferred)
- 5+ years relevant work experience with deep knowledge of category, market trends and impacts to cost structures
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, or other analytics and dashboarding tools desired
- Exposure to supply chain management challenges preferred
- Results-oriented mentality with a focus on efficiency, accuracy and quality
