Regional Service Manager - Pottstown, PA

Reporting to the National Director of Service, this person is responsible for oversight and growth of a regional industrial refrigeration business unit within a specified territory. The Regional Service Manager manages a staff tasked with customer relationships, development of work orders, quoting of service repair and small project opportunities, as well as oversight of the group financials. Direct reports include office administration and skilled technicians knowledgeable in a variety of refrigeration systems (ammonia, CO2, freon, etc). Works closely with other business units (Parts, Compressor Services) to provide support and sales opportunities.

• Manage P&L for assigned business unit

• Ensure that all service personnel are adequately trained and equipped

• Data entry in Excel reports for bids, estimates, costs of sales, customer information, etc.

• Accountability for ensuring department budget goals are met or exceeded

• Answer incoming requests from customers and technicians

• Responsible for accurate customer billings

• Coordinate scheduling of service work and quoted jobs

• Estimate service work from recommended repairs and customer requests

• Prepare recommended repair quotes and follow up on quotes

• Minimum 5 years applicable service management experience in a relevant industry (Refrigeration, Mechanical/Plumbing, Electrical, etc.)

• MS Office proficiency

• Basic P&L knowledge

• Understanding of 24/7 service business

• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multi-task

• Understanding of urgency and ability to react
