Radiance, supporting major Army programs in Crystal City, VA, is searching for an experienced Systems Administrator to provide architecture support to critical computer systems for the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Task Force (ISR TF). The candidate will be responsible for supporting IT infrastructure in a unclassified environment, supporting the current infrastructure, and compliance with applicable information assurance requirements to ensure 24/7 continuity of operations. Successful candidates will have the following behavioral competencies: * Great attitude with high degree of customer focus * Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities * Solid trouble-shooter, problem solver * Reliable and committed to getting the job done (including after hours as required) * Excellent coping skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities * Possesses the desire to "do things the right way", follows industry standard processes and guidelines. * Self-managed; able to work independently or with a team as required Job Responsibilities * Work with teams across IT to ensure architectures are cohesive, adhere to enterprise standards, and that systems are scalable, resilient, secure, highly available, and easy to operate * Performing system design, hardware/software implementation and integration, and general infrastructure support. * Preparing documentation for current and future systems projects. * Engineering, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and deploying VMware infrastructures, including Backup & Disaster Recovery. * Design and recommend network solutions to integrate with current and planned infrastructure * Experience in User account and access control management (Active Directory, LDAP, User Access Control) in a domain or stand-alone environment * Identify and implement high availability architectures for infrastructure processes that are identified to have single points of failure * Provide advice and consulting support to the project teams directly or through team members * Drive continuous improvement in service delivery processes to accelerate provisioning of new systems * Collaborate with the Government stakeholders and other team members to ensure designs are aligned with project requirements * Identify the required network architecture components and frameworks. Prioritize the architecture deliverables and establish short term, mid-term and long term plans Required Skills * US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance * An MCSA, MCITP, or recent MCSE certification * Security+ certification or other certification that meets DoD Directive 8570 requirements * Advanced skills in engineering system architectures and maintaining VM infrastructure Required Experience * Experience designing and documenting processes and procedures. * At least 8 years of experience in network engineering strategy, architecture, design, and implementation of complex enterprise level networks * Proven Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure * Familiarity with network tools for readiness assessment and advanced troubleshooting * Strong experience with Windows operating systems Desired Qualifications * Experience with SaaS solutions and integration * Windows and/or Linux certification is a plus * Sales Force and Jira application management a plus Job Location Crystal City, Virginia, United States Position Type Full-Time/Regular US Citizenship Required Yes Ability to obtain a Security Clearance Yes Polygraph Required Not Required
