Our Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) work under our Commercial Policy Lines Management Team to maximize positive customer experiences by proactively cultivating client relationships, as well as to support both the agency producers and account managers in retaining our client renewals.

Agency support duties include but are not limited to: (see full job description for details)
- Manage the successful & timely delivery of exceptional & professional service to our clients, insurance carrier representatives, and fellow employees.
- Perform all account transactions, including completing and/or updating applications, quoting, auto ID cards, FR-19's, endorsements, certificates, billing, follow-up, and correspondence for assigned account managers according to agency procedures.
- Maintain all client files in the agency management system with full policy detail and use the system for processing all transactions, keeping detailed notes, and daily agency procedure activities.
- Participate in education classes & pursue self-learning to maintain current knowledge of all industry areas, to include underwriting requirements and guidelines for all or our carriers, insurance policy provisions & changes, as well as industry trends.
- Support other agency teams as needed, such as Front Desk or the Claims Department, as well as management-assigned projects & additional duties as needed.
Job Details
- Job Type: Full Time, 40+ Hours per week
- Schedule: In-Office Position Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
- Office Location: Columbia, MD
- Salary Range: $35,000 - $40,000
Experience and Education
- Proven proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in web-based applications and data management systems
