CLIENT:
Our reputable client manages the business, personal, and philanthropic affairs of an ultra-high net worth family in San Francisco. Large office with about 75 people and each team has a lot of tenure and loyalty with the family. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your accounting exposure and knowledge base and learn from some truly dedicated and savvy finance professionals. They care a lot for their employees and has a gorgeous office in SF.
The Team:
- 1 Assistant Controller
- 5 Accounting Managers
- 5 Senior Accountants
- 5 Staff Accountants, this opening would make it 6 & 7
Team reports to: Finance Director - Very tenured team.
Position Report to: Assistant Controller and a designated Senior as a performance mentor
Selling points:
- Very dynamic, extremely nice people, collaborative and supportive environment, values teamwork, patient, appreciative of each other’s work
- The work complex: Several income producing entities, different types of companies, large amount of money they are managing, will be exposed to a variety of accounting work
- Leadership is really good at knowledge sharing
Accounting Analyst Candidate Profile:
- 1-3+ year experience in accounting field
- Can come from public accounting (Audit/Outsourced Accounting) OR industry
- Knowledge in bank reconciliations, AP, AR, cash flow statements, and GL would be great.
- Experience with Bill.com, QuickBooks and Excel highly preferred.
- CPA License is not needed. It would be nice to see someone who wants to get their CPA. Shows dedication to the profession
