Software Development Engineer, PA
Job Description
Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc, a division of Evertz Microsystems Ltd is seeking an Software Development Engineer whose primary duties will include quality control and testing of RF telecommunication equipment.
The successful candidate will be fluent in C/C++ and Linux, and will be familiar with communications protocols (TCP/IP, CANbus, SNMP, HTTPS) and web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS). Experience with Java and Python is a plus. The position will entail a variety of tasks including source code design, development, and support; scripting; and design and testing of analog and digital circuits. Familiarization with microprocessors, embedded Linux, Linux build systems, and Linux kernel drivers is valuable for this position.

Education and Work Experience requirements include: A Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field, and/or a minimum of four years of work-related experience is required. A minimum of two years of design experience is preferred for this position.
This position can work out of either the U-PARC Pittsburgh, PA 15238 office or Indiana, PA 15701 headquarters. Intermittent work in Indiana, PA will be required as needed.
