Title: Senior Recruiting Specialist



Position Type: Direct Hire



Location: Atlanta, GA (Remote)



Reports to: Sr. Staffing Director



Status: Exempt



Job Summary:



The Senior Recruiter / Staffing Specialist has the overall responsibility for staffing qualified personnel based on PIC Group predefined process. The Senior Recruiter will be accountable for maintaining contact with all qualified consultants to ensure resource levels are maintained. The Senior Recruiter / Staffing Specialist has responsibility to ensure that each consultant meets PIC Group standards by following pre-approved screening and qualification methods. This position reviews desired discipline categories and ensures candidates are qualified to be placed within each category and educates the energy and power marketplace on the benefits of working for PIC Group and suggests retention tools for consultants.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities




  • Completes job requirements based on predefined recruiting and staffing process.

  • Adheres to PIC Group’s standard operating procedures.

  • Educates power and energy marketplace on benefits of working for PIC Group.

  • Recruiting based on specific client criteria.

  • Continuously seeks referrals to proactively increase candidate resource levels.

  • Investigates and implements new recruiting tools and referral sources to increase PIC Group qualified candidate pool.

  • Supports target recruiting goals by utilizing PIC Group approved methods.

  • Follows PIC Group screening procedures to ensure that candidates are properly qualified.

  • Maintains contact with candidates and active consultants.

  • Builds rapport with consultants through on-going communication.

  • Maintains consultants’ records and ensures up to date and accurate information.

  • Reports on consultant availability and status based on information gathered.

  • Identifies and reports to management on resource shortfalls and subsequent recruiting needs.

  • Maintain metrics related to the resource management function and staffing function.

  • Identifies appropriate consultants for positions and projects based on PIC Group approved process.

  • Utilizes search methods to locate the best candidate for open Staffing Requests.

  • Assures that all open, approved positions are posted appropriately and closed when positions are filled.

  • Works with Business Leaders to maintain staff forecasting for PIC Group project staffing needs.

  • Provides Business Leaders with listing of new available candidates.

  • Participates with management in staffing reviews to determine course of recruiting efforts.



Job Requirements:




  • Ability to read, analyzes, communicate, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Must have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and assist in producing procedure manuals.

  • Must have the ability to effectively present information, respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public and support corporate teams with brainstorming efforts to enhance corporate programs.

  • Must have extensive knowledge of software programs including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), applicant tracking systems, database software, web applications and other software skills are required on a regular basis.

  • Experience with Bullhorn ATS is a plus.



Physical Requirements:




  • The required duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office.



Education / Experience:




  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university, or a minimum of five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of direct recruiting experience in a technical market, preferably the power or oil and gas markets.
